Yard

Look for anything in your yard that may attract pests:

  • saturated spots on the lawn from too much watering or a leak in the irrigation;
  • wetness near the irrigation valve box from condensation and/or seeping type leaks;
  • clumps of leaves or accumulated plant debris near the foundation of the house or fence;
  • dog or other small animal feces.

Eliminating these pest attraction areas and keeping a trimmed lawn will ensure pests don't make their home near yours and cause other problems.

If you're unsure whether something has a potential for damage, give us a call; we'll help you with a plan to ensure pests aren't welcome!

Trees

Trees that are very near or touching your home can make it easy for bugs and other pests to enter through poorly sealed eaves, soffits, and window casings.

  • Trim back tree branches at least 4 feet from any surface of the home.
  • Make sure window casings are properly caulked or sealed (this will also reduce heating and cooling costs).
  • Dead branches should be trimmed for safety purposes and kept off the ground where pests will make it a home.

Properly maintained trees will provide shade from the Arizona sun, but won't provide pests with an easy entrance to your home.

If you need help determining how close is too close for your trees, give us a call.

Pools, Fountains & Water Features

Maintaining your fountain, water feature or pool and pool area will minimize the ability for water gnats, mosquitoes, and other moisture-bound insects to repopulate.

  • Eliminate any areas where stagnant water may accumulate, like the area where the backwash drains.
  • Clear the skimmer basket regularly to ensure a steady movement of water, which will prevent bugs from repopulating.
  • Have a Certified Pool Inspector check for leaks and cracks; the accumulation of excessive moisture creates an ideal breeding ground for all kinds of pests.

If you're unsure whether something has a potential for damage, give us a call; we'll help you with a plan to ensure pests aren't welcome!

Foundation

The foundation of your home is important for obvious reasons, but it's also a potential entry for two of the most common pests in Arizona - termites and scorpions. Each one requires a specific type of treatment and we are experts at both!

  • Our highly sensitive equipment can detect even the smallest signs of termites on your property. If found, we'll use the most effective termite treatment methods available to get rid of them for good.
  • We are authorized carriers of AVERZION, which is a one-time pesticide-free application that creates a physical barrier meant to prevent or reduce the entry into a structure. AVERZION will not kill pests, but it will keep them out of structures and away from people and pets.

If you're unsure whether you have termites, or you know you have a problem with scorpions, give us a call and we'll work with you to create a comprehensive pest mitigation plan!

Eaves & Soffits

Eaves are one of the most common areas where spiders make their home. Spider webs attract other insects and also tend to accumulate dust and debris. To minimize the attraction of these pests,

  • Trim back tree branches at least 4 feet from any surface of the home.
  • Make sure window casings are properly caulked or sealed (this will also reduce heating and cooling costs).
  • Dead branches should be trimmed for safety purposes and kept off the ground where pests will make it a home.

Eaves and soffits that are easily accessible are less likely to attract spiders and other pests, and are easier to clean. If you need a thorough check of the exterior of your home, give us a call and we'll identify and treat any potential pest problems.

Kitchen

Like us humans, pests are attracted to the kitchen area, where food and moisture may be in abundant supply.

  • Check for damp areas under the sink or near plumbing fixtures. Even small leaks from an old garbage disposal can be enough to attract unwanted pests.
  • Regularly clean under all your appliances to remove any crumbs or other food sources.
  • Keep counter tops clean and dry storage containers sealed.

If you think you may have unwanted pests lurking somewhere in the kitchen, give us a call; we'll help you with a plan to ensure they're not welcome!

Bath

As with the kitchen, the bath area often has excessive moisture, which can attract pests.

  • Check for damp areas under the sinks.
  • Keep shower and tub drains clean.
  • Check exhaust fan vents for a build-up of dust and clean when necessary.

If you have pests in the bath area, chances are you have them in the kitchen as well. Give us a call and we'll help you with a plan to get rid of them!

Cockroaches

Our top priority is first to eliminate the cockroaches you see, then remove any attractions that might be bringing other cockroaches into your home or business. Finally, we'll implement a plan to prevent future problems.

Silverfish, Flies, Gnats

Everyday pests like these often are seasonal. We'll locate the source of the problem and eliminate the attraction.

Rodents

We'll first evaluate your property for rodents and determine whether you have mice or rats. We'll then work with you to implement the most effective and ecologically responsible solution.

Scorpions

We have a deep understanding of scorpions and their behaviors, which allows us to develop customized pest control plans that can effectively eliminate them from your property.

Termites

Our highly sensitive equipment can detect even the smallest signs of termites on your property. If found, we'll use the most effective termite control and treatment methods available to get rid of them for good.

Lawn Pests

There are many insects living in your yard, most of which you'll never notice. But when they come in through small cracks and decide to live inside, they may pose a health hazard to you and your family. You need a professional Exterminator! Don’t let your yard become a haven for unwanted critters. We'll establish mitigation methods to deter them from entering at all.
